Build Your Voice
Singing involves more than learning notes and lyrics. Students develop the underlying vocal skills that make singing feel more controlled, expressive, and confident.
Depending on the student’s needs and goals, lessons may focus on:
The goal is to develop skills that carry from one song to the next.
For Every Stage
Young students can begin developing pitch awareness, vocal control, musical expression, and confidence in a supportive one-on-one setting.
Lessons are adapted to the child’s age, attention span, personality, and readiness.
Teen students may want to strengthen their voice for enjoyment, school performances, theater, auditions, recording, or greater confidence in singing.
Instruction helps them develop greater control, consistency, expression, and awareness as their voice continues to mature.
Some adults are singing for the first time. Others are returning after years away or want to develop a voice they have never fully explored.
Lessons begin at the student’s current level and progress according to their goals and comfort level.
No previous singing experience is required.

The Work Behind the Singing
Junior’s approach does not begin by repeatedly correcting a student while they sing a song.
He begins with the voice itself.
Through diaphragmatic vocal exercises, students strengthen the muscles used in singing. As those muscles develop, students improve breath support, vocal strength, and control.
Students then apply these developing skills to songs, helping them sing with greater ease, expression, and confidence.
The song becomes a place to use the voice they are developing, rather than the only place where development happens.
Preparing for a Performance or Audition?
Students sometimes come to Voicemaster with a specific goal in mind, such as an audition, school performance, recording, theater production, or special event.
Junior can help students prepare the material while also strengthening the vocal skills behind it.
This allows preparation to focus on more than getting through one song. Students work toward greater control, expression, and confidence they can continue using afterward.
